für eine installation im kunstraum st virgil, einem katholischen bildungshaus in salzburg, frage ich alle, die im und am haus arbeiten: was ist dir heilig? die antwort wünsche ich mir in materialisierter form. ob als symbol oder als ikone, stellte ich frei. ich sammelte diese dinge und stellte sie in vitrinen aus. fotos von liebsten menschen, ein casino austria schal, ein gehäkelter stoffhase, ein getrocknetes gänseblümchen, ein gemälde, eine röhrenradio und drei schälchen: erde, wasser, samen…

for an installation in a catholic seminar house, st virgil in salzburg, i asked all the people working in and at the house: what is sacred to you? i asked not for words, but for things: as a symbol or an icon. these things were displayed in glass cases. among them: photographs of beloved ones, a football scarf of casino austria, a old radioplayer, a dried daisy, and three little bowles: soil, water, seeds…
